The "DFT-3" is a digital float-type tide gauge that transmits the up-and-down movement of a float floating on the water surface to a pulley via a wire, allowing for the observation of tide levels based on the rotation angle of the pulley. Observation data is output to both a compact flash card and digital output. Since it is recorded in ASCII format, transferring and analyzing the observation data is easy.
